Mental aspects of animals
This is about traumatized animals and Reiki. Reiki works on the mental side, so continued Reiki for trauma can gradually heal it.
We were told that the dog in the photo below had barely been able to walk for about six months because the breeder went bankrupt and he had not eaten anything for some time. Indeed, he is very skinny. The owner was pleased to hear that the dog had started walking in the dog run the day before this Reiki session, and furthermore, that it ran well on this day after the session.
While the Reiki was being given, I was still and docile, accepting the Reiki. I, the Reiki giver, felt the Reiki flowing well, and I also felt the need for it.
In particular, the back of the head seemed to feel good.
As you may know if you have ever received Reiki in person, it helps to clear your head and relieve some of the stress. I am saddened to hear that the owner has suddenly disappeared and wonder what he must have gone through, whatever the circumstances, but I have the utmost respect for the owner who has protected and kept him, and I am very happy to have met him here and been able to do Reiki with him.
