He has been a veterinarian for over 25 years, providing medical care and consulting services for a wide range of livestock and companion animals. His experience in livestock and veterinary medicine led him to develop his own technique, Animal Reiki®.
Animal Reiki® is a “life-oriented care” that combines veterinary medicine, naturopathic medicine, and energy work. Based on sensory, resonance, and nonverbal communication, it approaches the “voice of the heart” behind an animal's behavior and symptoms.
Currently, he conducts seminars and education for veterinarians, owners, and animal professionals in Japan and abroad as a complementary and integrated care for veterinary medicine. He also provides educational support at veterinary and medical universities and makes presentations at international conferences. Through his study of Shintoism, he values Japanese spirituality and continues his activities based on "prayer and care.
